The AsperX tire inflator looked to be a good portable inflator to keep in the car for emergencies. I order the pump to test and it arrived in 2 days thanks to Amazon prime.

When you open the package you will find a zip-up nylon case that holds the portable inflator, the valve, multiple attachments, and a USB-C cable.

The inflator is very well built and has a solid feel to it. The pump has a digital display that can show you the pressure in PSI, kPa, and Bar. There are also buttons to increase and decrease the air pressure that you would like the pump to inflate the tire too. I tested inflating my winter tire that I had just swapped onto the car tire from 36 -> 41 PSI and it took about 2-3mins and then auto stopped. This was a great feature so that I could start working on the next tire to swap while the pump did its thing.

In addition being a inflator, there is the following functions
• Flashlight with different functions
◦ SOS
◦ Super Bright
◦ Strobe
• 10,000 mAh battery pack to charge your portable devices

All in all this is a great portable inflator that you can use around the house or take with you on longer road trips.

5/5 stars for quality and functionality.

My new car doesn’t come with a spare tire to save weight and to make room for the hybrid battery. I wanted to get a portable air compressor/tire inflator to carry with me for peace of mind, although I know it won’t do much if there is a major puncture or damage. The AsperX tire inflator comes in a nice complete package, including a hard-sided case, USB charging cable, user manual in 5 different languages and accessories for inflating sports balls, air mattresses etc. Either a USB charging block, or a car cigarette lighter-USB adapter is needed to charge the air compressor is not included, but these days most people have these lying around for charging cell phones and tablets.
The compressor unit itself is fairly compact and contains a built-in 10,000 mAH battery (equivalent to 36 Whr @ 3.6V). On the front of the unit is a large LED display which shows the pressure in one of three user selectable units (psi, Kpa, or bar). The operation of the compressor is fairly intuitive, using the large buttons on the front of the unit. There are four different inflation modes: 1)automobile, 2)motorcycle, 3)bicycle , and 4)basketball. These are selected by pressing the Mode button. I’m not quite sure of the purpose of this function as selecting a specific Mode just seems to limit the range of the inflation pressure, for example choosing the Automobile Mode limits the inflation pressure range to between 26-51 psi., while Bicycle Mode has a range of 30-60 psi. It seems to me it would be easier just to manually set the compressor to the specified tire pressure by just using the +/- button. There is a LED flashlight on the top of the compressor which would come in handy if you need to inflate a tire in the dark. The air hose is a bit short (~13 inches), so depending on the position of the tire air inlet valve, you may end up having to hold up the compressor instead of letting it sit on the ground.
The compressor runs fairly quietly compared with other air compressors I have used. I was not able to determine how long the compressor could run on a full battery charge. Given the size of the battery, I think it should be more than enough to inflate a tire in an emergency. There is even a USB port so the battery can be used a power bank in a pinch.
This is one tool I will keep in the trunk of my car alongside my roadside emergency tool kit.

is portable compressor comes with a detachable flex hose, 3 inflations tips for various inflatable items (small, large and a ball pin), a presta valve to shrader valve adapter, a USBa to USBc charging cable and a very nice case to keep it all in.

The compressor itself is very compact and the whole kit packs up very small. I do think they missed a decimal point in the illustrated dimensions. It is 7.1” (18 cm) long by 3.5” (9 cm) wide by 2.1” (5.3cm) thick. Weight wise it is just 1lb 11 oz (775 g). These combine to make it very portable and easy to handle.

At the top of the unit is the threaded connection port for the hose. The hose has a flexible rubber inner with a nylon braided outer sleeve for protection. The end is fitted with a metal Shrader valve with a lever lock, which works well to secure to the valve. Also at the top of the compressor is a USBc port for charging the 10,000 mAh battery, a USBa port that you can connect devices to for charging from the battery and a small LED that you can use as a flashlight.

Controls for the compressor are very straightforward and intuitive, and the large simple LED screen is easy to read and understand. The top center button is the combined power and start/stop button. Long presses control the power and short presses start and stop the compressor. There is an M button for toggling between 5 inflation modes, 4 of which are fixed pressures for car at 36 psi, motorcycle at 35 psi, bicycle at 45 psi and ball at 9 psi. Each indicated along the bottom of the screen with an associated icon. I think the first 2 being so close is kind of a waste but they are there if you are that particular. The last mode is manual setting that you adjust with the +/- buttons. The last button is for the flashlight.

In operation the noise level is consistent with other I have used. Loud enough that it is noticeable but not so loud that you need to plug your ears. Inflation speed is actually very quick. Topping up a low tire took less than a minute. The only thing this compressor is lacking is the ability to run off a 12V power supply, like a cigarette lighter socket, should the battery be depleted. It will only run from the battery that must be charged by the USBc port. I suppose most cars these days have a USB port somewhere so I guess you could charge it up a bit that way but I am not sure how long that would take. Otherwise, this is a great compressor to keep in the car in case of emergency, or to keep in the garage as an inflation tool. Either way I highly recommend this compressor.

The AsperX AX70 was easy to use, and aired my tires up very quickly. I also was impressed by how simple and easy to understand the controls were. I really liked the fact that you could preset the amount of air pressure you wanted your tires to have, as in my case, the manufacturer says my tires should all have 35 PSI in them (60 PSI for my spare). So I preset the AX70 for that amount, and when it got my tires to 35 PSI, it automatically shut off. Nice feature, and takes the guess work out of it. Too many times in the past when I was airing up a tire, I would get too much or too little in it, and have to release some air or try to add just a little bit more. I also liked the fact that it can produce up to 160 PSi, but also has some preset range modes for common uses such as airing up car, bicycle, or motorcycle tires, as well as a mode for sports balls or pool toys, etc. I keep a powerbank in my vehicle just in case, but it's nice that the AX70 also doubles as a 10,000 mAh charger. I am very pleased with this tire inflator, and will be keeping it in my vehicle at all times. Highly recommended.

The look and feel of the unit is very nice. It feels well made and LCD display is easy to read. Upon getting the pump, I fully charged it and then waited a couple of weeks before using (this was to see how well it kept the charge). My test was on my campers spare tire. I completely deflated the tire, set the pump to 45 lbs and let it go. It did quite well, taking just over 10 minutes to fill the tire. The video shows it reaching 45 lbs but I stopped filming thinking it wasn’t going to stop. Of course it stopped right after I stopped filming, so it did it’s job.

My only gripes would be; the hose is very short. As you can see in my pics it was hanging. If the tire is on the ground I’m sure the pump would be fine, the labels on the buttons were very hard to read in poor lighting (like on the side of the road at night), and if you need to do more than one tire, one charge might not make it. The battery level indicator was on the last bar (there are only 4 bars). Otherwise, I really like it and gave it 5 stars.
